We've loved this place for 19 years since Jennifer and her husband owned it. We order mostly take outa at least once if not twice per month. The quality of the food seems to be the same: excellent. We hope it remains that way with the new owners!!

Nice neighborhood Chinese place that does a lot of business. Food has almost always been good. The previous owners and staff really ran a good shop and the owner would be waking around checking to make sure that all was good. The new team is still learning but they need to make it more personable.

Good price and Very good food. But, Service is ok. It is very small place and people are waiting on you to finish your food.

Probably the best Chinese I've had outside of Chinatown. Dry Chili Chicken is amazing along with their spicy green beans. Small dining room, so be prepared to wait or just take it to go.

I came here for the first time and the food was amazing. Everything was amazing from the staff to the food. It is authentic, fresh, and flavorful food. The only thing that bugged me is that it is a bit cramped but other than that I would definitely come again :)

Spicy dry chili chicken is really good. Not too spicy but flavorful.

This place never fails to impress. They have fantastic dishes for reasonable pricing, there is no waiting time even when the spot is busy.

As always the food here is amazing. In my humble opinion it is the best Chinese food in the world. The House Special Crispy Chicken is one of the best things you'll ever have. Service is always spot on and fast. Love these guys.

Great Chinese place with great food, I try to go here every week

I have fallen in love with glass noodles here. They serve it with pork belly and other sprouts and I can guarantee you that it's awesome. I have also had Fish with Wine sauce and it's good too. It's one of the rare authentic Chinese places I would say.There is dearth of seats on weekends as it is a small place so early reservation would be wise. Staff is very kind and cooperative.

Best Chinese food in Newbury Park. Staff is very friendly. I go so often they know my order already. That's great service! Try the House Crispy Chicken, it's delicious. Great portion sizes for the price, I always have left overs. The food comes out fast, both for dine in and take out. It's a small restaurant, so it usually gets packed during peak hours, which is a testament to their popularity. Try it, you'll be glad :)

Watch-out they just told me they don’t do lunch special today they canceled my order. They say it’s a holiday. Really? Such a shame they make rules like this especially when it’s not a holiday and it’s a weekday. I miss Jennifer

Came here with my family and ordered the orange chicken, cashew chicken, and the vegetable lo mein to share. They were all generous in portion and tasted wonderful. Their prices are super reasonable. Will definitely be back here. The only thing you may have to watch out for is that the dinner area is small so there are not very many tables.

Been coming here for years. Very good food and nice staff and good service. Only negative is that there are so few places to sit and dine in comfortably. I also have gone to Mandarin Inn where food is not as good but much nicer dining area. I would say Sesame is best for take out.

Simply the best for at least a 23 mile radius.I have not been disappointed here, going on six years. I may be biased because the owner and team are accommodating and friendly.

Sesame Inn has many authentic Chinese dishes. The cold spicy noodle dish is fantastic. I've never been able to find it, or recreate it, outside of China. Love this place!

Every dish is delicious with good portions every time I order. My go to place for Chinese food.

Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, quick and correct. Also very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon.

My favorite restaurant in town for sure! We'd had a hard time finding good Chinese food after moving to the area, and I may or may not have teared up a little at first bite. Everything I've had here is good, and the staff are so sweet. I can't recommend Sesame Inn enough.

A solid 5/5!! This is probably the most authentic restaurant around the Thousand Oaks area!! The boss is very very friendly, I always see her with regular customers and always sparking a conversation with them. Being Chinese myself I believe that is the most authentic Chinese cuisine in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Neighborhood Chinese restaurant that is tiny, clean, and serves delicious takeout (seating available too). Prices may seem a little steep, but the servings are generous and the recipes and preparation are delicious!
